Introducing Julia Pars, the co-founder of Gear Up Foundation. At just 15 years old, Julia’s passion for sports is palpable. A student at Parsippany Hills High School, she excels both on and off the court as a vital member of the varsity volleyball team and an avid participant in club volleyball year-round.

From soccer and softball to gymnastics and now volleyball, Julia’s sporting journey has been diverse and fulfilling. Each moment spent as an athlete has imbued her with invaluable life skills—teamwork, goal setting, communication, discipline, and beyond.

Julia’s commitment to sports extends beyond personal achievement. Recognizing the financial barriers that many aspiring athletes face, she’s determined to level the playing field. Having been fortunate enough to afford proper equipment for her own sport, Julia is driven by the desire to extend the same opportunity to others.
